From March 4th Parking service will function under a new, software-enhanced application system. This change brings a significant novelty – parking tickets are going into oblivion.
Instead of the previous parking tickets, users can now pay for the parking service by purchasing a digital parking ticket (DPK), a simple and efficient way to pay for parking at marked public general parking in Herceg Novi.
You can buy a digital parking ticket in marked sales facilities and kiosks, which are located along the streets of general parking and have a prominent notice about the sale.
When making a purchase, the user is obligated to provide accurate information for several key data in the sales facility:
the zone for which he wants to buy a ticket – each parking zone is marked and divided according to different tariffs and conditions.
period – the user should determine how long he will use the general parking lot (eg an hour, two, several hours, or a day).
vehicle registration number – it is important that the user provides the correct license plate number of his vehicle, so that the DPK in the system is linked to the right vehicle.
After a successful purchase, the user receives a slip and receipt as confirmation of the payment.
The digital parking ticket is immediately activated and automatically becomes visible in the Herceg Novi Parking service system, which means that parking control can easily verify the status of paid parking.
This system provides simplicity as the user will no longer need to return to the car to place a paper kiosk ticket.
In this way, we save your time and reduce the possibility of errors when filling out the ticket, allowing users to focus on their duties and not on administrative procedures related to parking.
Users can use the kiosk tickets until June 1st, 2025, after which they will be completely removed from use, regardless of the year marked on the tickets.
The parking service continues to work on additional improvements to the system to provide you with the best possible service.
