How does zone parking work?
The parking fee in zones is paid in advance by purchasing a parking ticket either electronically, via SMS or a dedicated application.
Parking in general parking areas (streets) in Herceg Novi is organized by zones – purple, red, blue, and yellow – which cover different parts of the city.
Payment is made in advance for hours or for the entire day, by purchasing a parking ticket via SMS, at sales points, or through the application – quickly and easily.

What is the deadline for paying after parking the vehicle?
The user is given a period of 15 minutes from the moment of parking to get informed about the payment method and purchase a parking ticket. After this period, the vehicle is considered parked without a valid ticket and is subject to inspection.
Can I pay for parking by SMS from a foreign number?
No. SMS payment works exclusively with numbers from mobile operators in Montenegro (m:tel, Telenor, One). Sending SMS messages from abroad or while roaming is not possible.
Is there a grace period after the paid parking ticket expires before making the next payment?
No, there is no grace period. After the paid time expires, the user must immediately extend the parking, if the time limitation of the zone allows, or remove the vehicle from the parking space.
What are the possible reasons for being issued a daily ticket payment order if the user has already sent an SMS or purchased a digital parking ticket for parking?
A daily ticket payment order may still be issued if the user sent an SMS or purchased a digital parking ticket, but the license plate number was entered incorrectly (e.g. wrong letter or number, incomplete registration, missing diacritics, confusion of letters and numbers), or if the payment was made for the wrong zone. In such cases, the user should immediately contact Parking Service Herceg Novi to check and possibly cancel the order, in accordance with the valid regulations and procedures of the Company.
Can I request a refund if a mistake was made while paying for parking?
Parking Service Herceg Novi does not provide refunds in cases where the user makes an error when paying for parking services (e.g. incorrect license plate number, wrong zone selected, wrong amount, etc.). The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of the entered data and is obliged to check all information before purchasing a parking ticket.
