PARKING PAYMENT
How to pay for parking via SMS?
The SMS payment service enables simple, fast, and reliable parking payment, without the need for a physical ticket or a mobile application. It is enough to send the vehicle license plate number (without spaces and special characters) to the appropriate number, depending on the desired zone or tariff.
SMS messages can only be sent from mobile operator numbers registered in Montenegro. Sending SMS messages from abroad or while roaming is not possible.
The parking fee is automatically charged to the user’s mobile account, and the message is considered valid only if you receive a confirmation SMS.
The license plate number must be written in Latin script and contain a combination of letters and numbers, in the order specified in the vehicle registration certificate. The use of letters with diacritics such as č, ć, ž, š, đ is is mandatory, while the use of spaces and special characters such as commas, dots, dashes and similar symbols is not allowed. In case the message is not formatted correctly, the system automatically sends instructions for correction.
Before the paid time expires, the user receives an SMS notification that the ticket is about to expire, with instructions that, if desired, the parking can be extended by sending a new message, or otherwise the vehicle must be removed, i.e., the parking space vacated. In zones with a time limit, extension via SMS is not possible, and in such cases it is necessary to remove the vehicle once the allowed time has expired. If the parking is not extended or the vehicle is not removed, the inspector may issue a parking ticket, in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
If the system does not function for any reason, the user is obliged to pay for parking by one of the other offered methods.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I receive after sending the message?
After sending a correct SMS message, you will receive a reply SMS with details. This message is a valid confirmation that the parking has been successfully paid.
Do I receive a reminder when the parking is about to expire?
Yes. A few minutes before the time expires, you will receive an SMS reminder so you can either extend the parking or remove your vehicle.
What if I sent the message with an error?
If the message contains spaces, symbols, or other errors in entering the license plate number, the system will automatically send a reply notifying you that the message was not correctly generated, along with an example of a correctly formatted message.
What if the system is not working at the moment?
If you do not receive any response, or you receive a message that the system is not functioning, parking must be paid in an alternative way — via a digital ticket (available at kiosks) or through the mobile application.
It is important to note that parking is not considered paid simply by sending an SMS message. The ticket is considered purchased only if the system explicitly sends a reply message confirming successful payment, containing the vehicle data, zone, and parking duration. The user is obliged to check whether the confirmation has been received.
