From October 1^st 2024 until June 1^st 2025 “Parking service Herceg Novi” d.o.o. Herceg Novi will apply the winter payment regime for parking spaces on general parking and charge parking every day except Sundays, from 7 am to 9 pm.

Parking services will not be charged and free parking is allowed at:

– Sava Ilića street, from Ribarska street to the entrance of the “Dr Simo Milošević” Institute on the south side (parking space numbers from 1 to 58) without time limit,

– from 5 pm to 7 am: Njegoševa street on Topla (across the tennis courts, parking space numbers 269-292) and

– from 5 pm to 7 am: Njegoševa street in the city center from the market “Idea” to the statue “Njunjo” in Save Kovačevića street (parking space numbers 390-439 and 441-463).

We inform citizens that starting from November 21st, 2022 “Parking service Herceg Novi” d.o.o. Herceg Novi allows free entry and exit for all vehicles at the garage on Topla from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

This decision was made to ease the needs of parents who, during that period, drive their children to school and kindergarten that are located near by.

“Parking service Herceg Novi” d.o.o. Herceg Novi informs citizens and users of parking services that, starting from June 23^rd 2022 from 7 am special parking lot – garage Topla will start charging for parking.

In the garage located on the plateaus below the traffic lights on Topla, there is a Smart parking system, a fully automated and centralized system with an automatic payment station for payments and magnetic cards for subscribers. The method of payment is prominently displayed in the garage and the same is done at the automatic payment station before the vehicle leaves the parking lot.

Persons who meet the requirements and want to be users of monthly subscription parking cards can contact the offices of the Company to make a subscription starting from tomorrow, June 23^rd  2022 after 11 o’clock.

The Parking Association of Montenegro, a professional association of parking companies, held a meeting last week in Kolašin. The meeting was attended by members of the association – representatives of parking companies from Ulcinj, Budva, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Nikšić, Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje, Berane and Podgorica.

The topic of the meeting was the existing legislative framework dealing with the field of parking in Montenegro, as well as comparative practices in the countries in the region. It was concluded that the existing regulations in the field of stationary traffic in Montenegro are quite outdated, that they do not follow modern legal and technical-technological solutions, which causes numerous problems for companies engaged in this activity and users of parking services. Also, the status of these companies as providers of communal parking services in relation to other providers of communal services is not appropriate and in the coming period the focus of the association will be to improve this status and bring it on par with other utilities, recognized through the Law on Utilities.

The association will insist on innovating the Law on Road Traffic Safety in order to follow the technical and technological progress in this area. For this purpose, contact has already been established with the Police Directorate, which has recognized the initiative of the association to improve this area. Adequate proposals, with concrete measures, will be sent to the Union of Municipalities, all local self-governments and competent state institutions.

The leadership of the Association was also elected at the meeting. Mr. Miladin Vidaković, Director of Parking Service Herceg Novi and Mr. Ismar Ćorović, Director of Parking Service Bijelo Polje were elected Vice Presidents of the Association, while Mr. Nusret Canović, Director of Parking Service Podgorica was elected for President of the Association.
